In collaboration with the Department of Asian, Middle Eastern and Turkish Studies at Stockholm University, we had the great pleasure of hosting an amazing taiko workshop with the world renowned taiko artist Kaoly Asano on November 4th, 2018. The workshop focused on playing from our hearts with feeling and   developing our own taiko sound, as we learned parts of the  GOCOO taiko piece called ELEVEN *.

We wish to thank our special guest, Kaoly Asano, from Japan.  We also wish to thank the Department of Asian, Middle Eastern and Turkish Studies for co-hosting the event, as well as Studiefrämjandet.

We also wish to thank everyone who participated and helped out in this event!
