In collaboration with Budohuset in Uppsala, we have the great pleasure of wel-coming Monica Vedia to Sweden on 30th-31st of August, 2025. It is a great op-portunity to be able to learn taiko from our invited professional taiko artist from TaikoMon!
Monica Vedia is a professional actress of the scenic arts, specialized in dramatic art, dance, gestural theater and improvisation. She has more than 20 years of experience in taiko.
This exciting weekend event features 4 taiko workshops:
#1: Kihon TaikoMon - featuring a sequence of basic rhythms for all levels.
#2: Hachijou - We will learn the basic patterns and a simple song. For all levels.
#3: TaikOn Stage - to improve our body awareness and stage presence. For all levels.
#4: DokoKara - a taiko piece composed by Yuta Kato. Intermediate level.
